Veterinary Assistant - ER Overnight

Schedule

• Mon-Fri from 6pm-8am: $3.50
• Sat-Sun from 8am-6pm: $3.50
• Sat-Sun from 6pm-8am: $5.00

  Pay

  Pay scale is depending on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system. Competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

  Responsibilities

  • Triage emergency cases as they come in
  • Aid DVM in crafting and going over estimates as needed
  • Perform diagnostics (radiographs, labwork, etc)
  • Set up patients in ICU or Inpatient ward
  • Discharge patients
  • Handle client communication

  • Working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment

  About the Role

  Our Veterinary Assistants triage emergency cases as they come in and assist DVM with crafting and going over estimates as needed. They perform diagnostics, set patients up in ICU or Inpatient ward, discharge patients, and handle client communication.
