Veterinarian Surgeon

About the role

The BluePearl Pet Hospital in Appleton, WI is seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon or Small Animal Surgery residency-trained individual to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the on-site board-certified surgeons and emergency clinicians to provide comprehensive surgical care.
• Work alongside a strong team of emergency clinicians to ensure the well-being of patients.
• Contribute to the growth and excellence of the surgery department through expanding services and supporting the community.
• Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to maintain and enhance surgical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Surgery or equivalent Small Animal Surgery residency training.
• Experience in small animal surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin.
• Passing scores on the AVMA Council on Veterinary Medical Accreditation (CVMA) examination.

• Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
