Veterinarian Surgeon

About the role

BluePearl in Overland Park, KS is seeking a full-time boarded Veterinarian - Surgeon or individuals who have completed surgery residency training to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care to patients in a high-volume emergency and specialty setting.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education and workshops.
• Contribute to the hospital's mission of enriching lives through remarkable care for pets.

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Kansas.
• Board certification in veterinary surgery or completion of a surgical residency program.
• Experience in emergency and/or specialty care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in veterinary surgery or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of advanced surgical techniques and technologies.
