Veterinarian Surgeon

About the role

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Port Washington, WI is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. We are expanding our surgery department due to a high caseload and service growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of board-certified surgeons
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, radiation oncology, rehabilitation, social work, and surgery
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Wisconsin
• Board certification or residency training in veterinary surgery
• Experience in emergency and/or specialty care preferred

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
