Veterinarian Surgeon

About the role

BluePearl Oklahoma City is seeking a board eligible or board certified surgeon. Located in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Midwest City, Yukon, Mustang, Moore, Norman, and surrounding areas of north Texas and the Texas panhandle, our hospital offers a variety of advanced diagnostics and services including emergency medicine, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with other veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of surgical techniques and patient outcomes
• Participate in case rounds and consultations to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
• Provide mentorship and guidance to veterinary technicians and students
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary surgery through continuing education

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma
• Board certification or board eligibility in veterinary surgery
• Experience in emergency and/or specialty care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
• Completion of a residency program in veterinary surgery
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams

Up to $100,000 sign-on bonus available!

Schedule
