About the role

As an Emergency Veterinarian at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing the highest level of emergency care. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a supportive environment with access to board-certified specialists in various fields.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population. - Collaborate with a team of primary care veterinarians, specialists, and technicians. - Maintain excellent communication with clients regarding patient status and treatment plans. - Participate in ongoing professional development through CE opportunities and specialty internships.

Requirements

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution. - Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Connecticut. - Experience in emergency medicine preferred but not required. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- A passion for emergency veterinary medicine. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
