About the role
We are currently seeking Emergency Doctors to join our team at Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, New Jersey!
Our tenured support staff
Our tenured support staff includes a team of dedicated ICU nurses, laboratory staff, and pharmacy technicians, some of which have been with AERA for decades.
The Role
- Manage inpatient cases
- Triage incoming patients
- Handle lacerations, basic wounds, urinary obstructions and enucleations
- Option to train in surgery and endoscopic foreign body removal
Schedule
Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating shifts (Four shifts per week for new graduates in the mentorship program)
- Shifts are: 8AM – 8PM, 12PM – 12AM and 8PM – 8AM
- Average of two weekends per month and four holidays per year
Salary And Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $180K – 220K, commensurate with experience, plus production!
