About the role

The BluePearl veterinary hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, are seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Specialist or an individual with residency training in Emergency and Critical Care to join our team. Clinicians at our BluePearl Georgia hospitals are committed to education, research, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services 24/7
• Collaborate with other specialists in emergency, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, nutrition, and ophthalmology
• Participate in educational activities and research
• Contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality veterinary care and fostering a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Board Certification in Critical Care or residency training in Emergency and Critical Care
• Experience in critical care and emergency medicine
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Georgia
• Passing score on the AVMA accreditation exam

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in critical care and emergency medicine techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
