Veterinarian - Criticalist

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time board-certified Veterinary Criticalist or an individual residency-trained in emergency and critical care to join their team. The selected candidate will work closely with other specialists to provide comprehensive care and will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for critical cases
• Participate in a newly constructed 12k square-foot facility with a 128 slice CT machine
• Join a VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility with state-of-the-art equipment and services
• Build personalized relationships with the primary and pet owning community
• Create opportunities for advancement and leadership within a bustling case load

Requirements

• Board-certified Veterinary Criticalist or residency-trained in emergency and critical care
• Experience in a 24/7 emergency hospital setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and commitment to a healthy work-life balance

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proven experience in critical care and emergency medicine
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
