About the role
The role involves providing support to veterans and their families through counseling and referral services.
Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to veterans and their families.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Refer clients to appropriate community resources and services.
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to supervisors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
- Experience working with veterans and their families preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of veteran benefits and resources.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
