Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality condition of the physical building(s) and surrounding area of the facility.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with state agencies and other entities for facility upkeep.
- Maintain required maintenance logs of facility equipment and units.
- Provide recommendations to the Executive Management Team regarding facility modifications.
- Implement modifications, repairs, and updates to the facility in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to manage physical building supply inventory.
- Assist in managing supply inventory of supplies and ensure proper storage.
- Assist in delivering basic services to veterans served at the facility.
- Maintain a harmonious atmosphere by communicating with the Executive Management team and fostering a therapeutic community environment.
- Manage tenants’ mail, ensuring accurate and timely distribution.
- Aid in the move-in and move-out processes for tenants.
- Address tenants’ issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted services and housing.
- Provide shuttle van transportation for tenants to community agencies and essential destinations.
- Assist with facility maintenance and ensure readiness for inspections.
- Implement and adhere to safety and emergency procedures.
- Conduct inspections of rooms to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment.
- Document health and welfare checks, inspections, incident reports, tenant logs, etc.
- Follow site work order procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Valid driver’s license required, must meet company insurance requirements, and complete a provided driver training course.
- Must be able to obtain OSHA 10/30 Certification.
- Two years experience with facility management or equivalent maintenance experience and/or ability.
- Experience with programs, tenants’ population, similar populations, or other relevant experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, dedicated to the mission, and flexible.
