About the role
This position is for a highly motivated and proactive Operations expert to join the Live Oak Pavilion and Greenfield Lake Amphitheater team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and General Manager, this role is based at the venues and does not involve remote work.
Responsibilities
- Works directly with venue leadership or Operations Manager to perform day of show duties
- Aids in the setup and tear down of venue assets for all events, including chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.
- Performs regular preventive and general maintenance around the site, buildings, including painting, cleaning, landscaping, and miscellaneous projects
- Responds to or elevates staff/guest inquiries and concerns regarding shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, and the VIP program
- Maintains line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting any issues encountered
- Maintains knowledge of and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and communicates them effectively to team members
- Diagnoses safety issues around the site, helps prevent potential hazards, and reports any faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual situations to proper supervision
- Maintains clean and orderly work areas
- If applicable, drives forklifts and/or other company vehicles and completes all required tasks
- Assists with venue setup and event conversions
- Performs additional tasks as requested by management
Requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude
- Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
- Skills in guest relations
- Able to handle manual labor
- Able to handle long show days; up to 15 hours
- High School Diploma or GED required
