About the role
This position involves delivering prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service both in person and over the phone, facilitating night-of-show Will Call and Guest List operations, and troubleshooting event-day issues such as transfers, barcodes, and account problems. You will work with Guest Services and Operations on ADA requirements, provide information on upcoming events and upgrades, and maintain a strong knowledge of event culture and genres while fostering a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone.
- Facilitate night-of-show Will Call and Guest List operations.
- Troubleshoot night-of-show issues (transfers, barcodes, account issues, etc.).
- Work with Guest Services and Operations on ADA requirements.
- Provide information on upcoming events and available upgrades.
- Balance and reconcile daily/nightly ticket sales.
- Sell tickets for current and future events, including upgrades and ancillary products.
- Assist Manager/Supervisor in reconciliation of ticket stock and pricing initiatives (Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing, Value Channels, and Special Ticket Offers).
- Distribute accurate daily ticket counts to Artist Representatives.
- Assist with internal Ticket Orders and Reports.
- Collaborate with Premium Seat Sales/VIP on nightly upgrades, primary inventory, and reports.
- Perform daily operations on the Ticketmaster host system for sales and other tasks.
- Follow opening and closing shift procedures.
- Maintain standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events, and qualifiers.
- Maintain the call center phone system, including current phone menus and event calendars.
- Assist in maintaining Box Office cleanliness and adhere to the dress code policy.
- Update and modify spreadsheets as needed (Ticket Stock Log, Vault Log, etc.).
- Collect, store, and track Lost & Found items.
- Provide 3rd Party venue coverage offsite, including night-of-show management, staffing, and equipment needs.
- Ensure compliance with ADA ticket laws.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cash handling.
- Experience in phone and in-person customer service.
- Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment.
- Experience in ticket sales.
- Experience working in live entertainment operations.
- Familiarity with the Ticketmaster host system.
- Experience identifying counterfeit cash/IDs.
