About the role

US Concerts is seeking a Box Office Representative to assist guests at live events by performing duties such as collecting admission tickets and passes, helping patrons find seats, locating lost articles, and directing guests to venue facilities.

Responsibilities

• Sell and collect admission tickets and passes from patrons at events.
• Greet guests attending events who come to the box office.
• Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity using criteria such as color or date issued.
• Provide accommodations for guests with special needs, including wheelchair assistance.
• Inform guests of venue layout and direct them to restrooms, concession stands, and seating.
• Identify fake tickets or credentials and educate guests on where to buy authentic tickets.
• Settle seating disputes or help resolve other guest concerns.
• Assist guests in finding seats, using flashlights if necessary.
• Participate in the venue’s sustainability program by sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about conservation efforts.
• Partner with team members to close the venue, including collecting recyclables, storing event equipment (e.g., lawn chairs, barricade), and ensuring cleanliness.
• Maintain order, ensure adherence to safety rules, and report safety concerns to management.
• Guide guests to exits or provide assistance during emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Expected compensation for this position is $16.90 USD - $20.00 USD hourly, based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
