Responsibilities

• Arrive at the scheduled start time in appropriate, neat, and pressed uniform.
• Collect and set up any necessary equipment, including side‑work.
• Know the content of all menus and wine lists.
• Serve guests and internal employees according to established standards.
• Assist in clearing tables as necessary.
• Assist the server to ensure guest requests are met.
• Keep the workstation clean at all times.
• Read all memos.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward guests and co‑workers.
• Report to the Food & Beverage Manager before ending the work shift.
• Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively about the resort at all times.
• Foster teamwork and mutual service by assisting co‑workers and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Know the resort layout.
• Work efficiently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well with or without direct supervision (no supervision exercised; supervision received from the Restaurant Manager).
• Neat and well‑groomed appearance at all times.
• Flexibility, self‑motivation, positivity, and a professional attitude toward guests, co‑workers, and management.
• Current food handler’s certification.
• Prior experience in food and beverage service desired.
• English language skills sufficient to communicate with guests.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lb.
• Approximately 50 % walking, 35 % bending & lifting, 15 % standing.
• Hearing and manual dexterity.
• Distance vision of 1–3 feet.
• Use of cleaning solutions.
