Venue 1 Expediter/Runner PM

About the role

To facilitate food and beverage service to each guest in an expedient, professional and courteous manner in a fast-paced, collaborative, and inclusive environment with a focus on creating personalized extraordinary experiences.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate, neat, and pressed uniform ready for work.
• Collect and set up any necessary equipment to perform job, including side-work.
• Know the content of all menus and wine lists.
• Serve guests and internal employees according to established standards.
• Assist in clearing tables as necessary.
• Support servers to ensure guest requests are met.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Read all memos and stay informed about resort updates.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward guests and co-workers.
• Report to the Food & Beverage Manager before ending work shift.
• Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times.
• Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Know the resort layout and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must work well with or without direct supervision.
• Must be neat and well-groomed at all times.
• Flexible, self-motivated, positive, and professional attitude toward guests, co-workers, and management.
• Must maintain current food handler’s certification.
• Prior experience desired.
• English skills necessary to communicate with guests.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting & Carrying: up to 45 lbs (50% of the time).
• Walking: 35% of the time.
• Bending & lifting: 15% of the time.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Hearing and manual dexterity.
• Distance vision: 1-3 feet.
• Use of cleaning solutions.
