Venture Partner

About the role

We are hiring a Venture Partner to bring new opportunities into Pairs, and to grow the network of investors who see them first. Pairs is a global network of family offices, institutional investors, VCs and angels. We screen deal flow very tightly, and the opportunities that clear our diligence go out to the network. We invest alongside them too.

What you will own

• New opportunities. Companies raising Series A and later, brought to Pairs with the context our team needs to assess them.
• Network growth. New relationships every month with family offices, high-net-worth individuals and angel investors who are new to Pairs.
• Investor matching. A clear understanding of what each investor looks for, so the opportunities you share are relevant.
• Your relationships. The founders and investors you bring, kept current and qualified. They remain yours.

You are a fit if you

• Have an active network of founders you can bring to the table yourself, and direct investor relationships you built personally.
• Have brought at least one company or investor into a private round, and can walk us through how it happened.
• Understand what makes a company worth an investor's time: stage, traction, round structure, and the reasons investors pass.
• Treat discretion as second nature. Please do not include any investor or company names in your application.
• Use AI tools daily, with clear judgement about where they improve your work and where they would compromise its quality.
