Key Responsibilities
- Collections the sourcing and change notices data for products in development till SOP, tracks the drifts per commodity and investigates reasons.
- Supports Vendor Tooling framing activities for North American projects and archetype updates.
- Vendor tooling drift tracking: Collects target, sourcing, changes data per commodity using all available tools (CST, CN, Cost Books) interacting with PEM, TPC leader, Project Leaders.
- Identifies the drifts of the forecast vs. target and vs. award.
- Investigates the reasons for drifts supporting and encouraging lessons learned activities.
- Implements VT database with awards.
- Vendor Tooling Framing: Supports elaboration of VT expenses framing from IM to CM using available archetypes, scope sheets and VisBOMs.
- Supports the forecast to framing convergence activities.
- Archetype updates: Supports the update of the archetypes using the collected data.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Automotive industry.
- Competence of automobile terminology with basic technical knowledge.
- Expertise in molds and dies (highly desired).
- Synthesis capabilities from the analysis of multiple data.
- Consolidated competence in the use of EXCEL (VBA expertise is a plus).
