About the role
As the Vendor Solutions Consultant for Public Sector, you will transcend traditional vendor management to serve as a consultant and transformation ally to Google Cloud's public sector leadership. In this role, you will lead the evolution of our external public sector programs into highly automated, high-velocity engines. You will not just manage suppliers; you will co-create next-generation workflows alongside our strategic partners.
Responsibilities

- Move beyond traditional vendor management to actively co-create and architect delivery models with strategic public sector partners.
- Collaborate with suppliers to redesign their internal workflows, embedding modern technologies that unlock exponential efficiency and accelerate time-to-market.
- Act as a management consultant to Google Cloud public sector leadership.
- Design and architect external engagements, determining optimal delivery frameworks that seamlessly integrate internal ecosystems with partner capabilities.
- Identify, scope, and implement opportunities to embed AI-driven automation, GenAI tools, and advanced tech stacks into the partner ecosystem.
- Transform core programs from headcount-driven models to asset- and technology-leveraged models.
- Establish modern, data-driven governance frameworks that prioritize business outcomes over mere compliance.
- Lead executive business reviews using predictive data to drive accountability for monthly/quarterly targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications
- 5 years of experience in public sector, management consulting, or a solution-architecting role within the technology or public sector industry.
- 4 years of experience designing, architecting, or managing external programs or engagements.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum experience: 8 years.

Benefits
- Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- US: $140000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
