Vendor & Procurement Specialist Consultant

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of vendor invoicing, accounts payable coordination, contract administration, and procurement processes to identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Document current-state workflows, stakeholder roles, systems, internal controls, and reporting mechanisms to support process optimization initiatives.
  • Develop a future-state Vendor Financial Management and Procurement Operating Model, including governance structures, roles and responsibilities (RACI), service levels, key performance indicators (KPIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support day-to-day vendor financial management activities, including requisition and shopping cart creation, purchase order tracking, invoice verification, reconciliation, payment coordination, and budget compliance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor procurement activities, invoice processing, operational performance, and key metrics.
  • Cook up with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk Management, vendor owners, and business units to ensure efficient vendor management and procurement operations.
  • Afford existing procurement, contract management, and vendor management technologies, identifying opportunities to improve Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes through automation and digital solutions.
  • Develop business requirements, evaluation criteria, and supporting documentation for Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and technology assessments.
  • Establish standardized procurement governance frameworks, including workflows, templates, trackers, documentation repositories, reporting processes, and compliance mechanisms.
  • Support implementation of new operating models, facilitate knowledge transfer activities, and deliver training to ensure successful adoption of improved procurement and vendor management practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree with relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
  • A professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor financial management, procurement operations, contract administration, or procure-to-pay processes is required.
  • Experience conducting business process assessments and developing operating models, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting vendor invoicing, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, payment coordination, and procurement compliance is required.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators to monitor procurement and vendor management activities is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Source-to-Contract (S2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), contract lifecycle management, and vendor management processes is required.
  • Experience evaluating procurement technologies and preparing business requirements, RFIs, or RFP documentation is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk Management, and business units.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Total Remuneration

USD 8,000 – 10,400 (monthly)
