Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing initiatives and category-based projects for telecom, broadcast technology, and IT-related expenditures, aligning procurement activity with business priorities.
- Cook up with business unit leaders and internal stakeholders to deliver results across assigned workstreams and support broader procurement planning efforts.
- Develop competitive pricing requests, review supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchasing arrangements for indirect goods and services.
- Oversee vendor agreements and service requests originating from operations, sales, and customer-driven needs, ensuring timely execution and compliance with procurement standards.
- Maintain and organize indirect spend data, sourcing records, and procurement documentation such as quotes, inquiries, business cases, completed contracts, and supplier status updates.
- Support ad hoc service requests and scheduling needs for both one-time and ongoing services across the enterprise footprint.
- Apply strategic sourcing methodologies, including spend baselining, total cost analysis, and structured procurement practices, to improve value and decision-making.
- Contribute to the refinement of procurement standards, operating procedures, and category management best practices within the assigned area.
- Build familiarity with facilities across the U.S. network and travel occasionally to support procurement activities at different locations as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in corporate procurement, indirect sourcing, or category management.
- Demonstrated background in contract negotiation, supplier management, and commercial purchasing processes.
- Experience handling purchase orders, quotes, and order fulfillment within a structured procurement environment.
- Strong knowledge of indirect procurement and indirect purchasing practices across multiple service categories.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities across concurrent workstreams.
- Familiarity with strategic sourcing frameworks, cost analysis methods, and procurement best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with close attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to U.S.-based facilities as business needs require.
