Vehicle Technician
About the role
Bristol Ambulance (part of EMED Group) is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the team based just off the feeder road in Bristol. The role supports essential frontline ambulance services, patient transport, and event medical cover. The successful candidate will take pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoy a varied working environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a large fleet of ambulance vehicles.
- Carry out diagnostics across a range of vehicles to identify faults.
- Complete routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Perform repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Provide out‑of‑hours support as part of a rota system.
Requirements
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification (essential).
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
