Vehicle Purchasing Specialist (Sales) - Holman Honda Centennial

About the role

The Vehicle Purchasing Specialist plays a key role in acquiring customer vehicles, connecting with guests who request appraisals, and managing vehicle purchases. They work closely with store leadership to ensure smooth processes and secure vehicle acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Acquire customer vehicles by working with store leadership to connect with guests requesting appraisals through KBB or dealership websites.
• Cultivate vehicle purchases directly from guests who have submitted online appraisals.
• Manage inbound leads using the KBB Dashboard and DealerSocket CRM.
• Quickly connect with prospects to schedule in-store reviews and establish purchase opportunities.
• Partner with store managers to assess vehicle values, highlight key merchandise, and identify upside potential.
• Maintain consistent follow-up using assigned cadence protocols, with the goal of securing two-way communication and a formal appraisal appointment.
• Log all interactions, appointments, and decisions within DealerSocket.
• Support each guest through the process with transparency and professionalism, while working to maximize acquisition opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive or related field preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $23.10 - $32.93 USD per hour.
