Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair all vehicle problems, in an expedient fashion
- Perform PM’s on all vehicles quickly and efficiently
- Perform advanced fabrication and custom modifications
- Improvise and pioneer efficient methods for service and repairs
- Give advice and pointers to less experienced staff
- Document all parts usage
- Document all work done on work orders
- Follow all shop safety practices and dress code
- Maintain tools and work area
- Manage motor pool and have accountability for damage on a daily basis
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations
- Support Telluride Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives
- Adhere to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and adhere to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Second to fifth year mechanic, journeyman level.

Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100lbs.
- Regularly stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
- Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
- Frequent exposure to noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
