Responsibilities
- Install and configure vehicle controller area network (CAN) instrumentation systems on prototype vehicles
- Work with data collected and transmitted to cloud servers to:
- Identify specific issues and the conditions under which those issues arise
- Develop analytics dashboards for management review of data like fleet performance/efficiency data, usage metrics, open issues, and requirements validation status
- Work with cross-functional engineers to identify signals and triggers beneficial to vehicle data analysis and implement those into the data collection systems
- Assist engineers and managers in using the data reporting tools and dashboards created to capture key performance indicators
- Support vehicle level testing and validation of functional objectives through our requirement management system
Requirements
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Must be graduating between August 2026 and May 2029
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in vehicle communication networks, telematics, and data analysis tools
- Comfortable working in both laboratory and vehicle/plant environments
- Experience with or eagerness to learn tools such as Python and Grafana is a plus
