Vascular Sonographer (RVS or RVT)

About the role

This position is for a Full-Time Registered Vascular Sonographer responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations to diagnose and treat vascular conditions. The role includes conducting venous, arterial, abdominal, and peripheral duplex/doppler studies, and may involve vascular procedures. The sonographer works independently, ensuring proper documentation and equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound imaging and document procedures accurately.
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams at various sites.
• Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher).
• ARDMS or CCI registered RVS or RVT certification.
• Preferred experience in vascular sonography, with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Licensing as RVT, RVS, or equivalent.
• This role requires technical proficiency, independence, and adherence to documentation standards, supporting diagnostic and treatment needs within a cardiovascular diagnostic department.
