Vascular Sonographer (RVS or RVT)

About the role

Full-Time Registered Vascular Sonographer performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations on adult and pediatric patients, including carotid, venous, arterial, abdominal, and thoracic studies. They may also conduct vascular procedures and perform exams independently, ensuring proper documentation and equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound imaging and document procedures accurately.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, preparing for on-call and portable exams as needed.
• Ensure readiness and proper functioning of all diagnostic tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher).
• ARDMS or CCI registered RVS or RVT certification.
• Preferred experience in vascular imaging, with up to 2 years being advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and perform various vascular studies.
• Requires a valid vascular technologist license or certification.
• Strong attention to detail, technical skills, and knowledge of vascular procedures.
