Be part of an exceptional health care experience by joining the vascular neurology team at the nationally recognized Fleming Neuroscience Institute at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), now a part of Jefferson Health. LVHN operates one of the region’s highest-volume stroke programs, caring for patients across 15 hospitals each year.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care within the LVHN Region Stroke Network, anchored by a Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) at the Cedar Crest campus and supported through telemedicine by six Primary Stroke Centers, three Neighborhood Hospitals, and two active Emergency Departments.
- Deliver advanced stroke care at the Cedar Crest site, where patients have access to 24/7 advanced imaging, endovascular therapy, and neurovascular surgical expertise.
- Contribute to a Joint Commission–certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, one of the first three certified CSCs in the United States, establishing LVHN as a national leader in stroke systems of care.
- Support stroke sites recognized by the American Heart Association with Gold Plus and Target: Stroke awards, reflecting excellence in rapid, evidence-based stroke treatment.
- Collaborate with LVHN’s Transfer Center to coordinate interfacility stroke transfers, utilizing dedicated critical care transport and aeromedical services for rapid movement of high-acuity patients.
