Vascular Anomalies Associate Professor or Professor, Clinician Educator, Pediatric Oncology (CHOP)

About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in clinical care and research directly related to patients with complex vascular anomalies.
• Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.
• Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, graduate students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or related disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows.
• Serve as a mentor to junior faculty in the complex vascular anomalies program.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care focused on children, adolescents and young adults with complex vascular anomalies at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and active involvement in fellowship training.
• Collaborate with members of a large interdisciplinary team.
• Expand translational and clinical research efforts in the Complex Vascular Anomalies Program.
• Have an established record of peer reviewed scholarship and extramural funding.

Requirements

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

The rank will be commensurate with experience.
