Vascular Anomalies Associate or Full Professor, Academic Clinician, Pediatric Oncology

About the role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical care and research directly related to patients with complex vascular anomalies and rare vascular tumors.

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or related disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows.
• Clinical responsibilities may include attending the interdisciplinary Comprehensive Vascular Anomalies Programs Clinic and some joint IR clinic as well as oncology clinic for Vascular anomaly patients and other rare tumors.
• Research opportunities may present themselves to contribute to a generation of new knowledge regarding care of patients with vascular anomalies, leadership and participation in QI projects, registries and SOP.

Requirements

• Expertise in clinical care and research related to complex vascular anomalies and rare vascular tumors.
• M.D. or equivalent degree.
• Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical care and research related to complex vascular anomalies and rare vascular tumors.
• Ability to teach medical students, residents, fellows, and post-doctoral fellows.
• Ability to provide clinical care in the Comprehensive Vascular Anomalies Programs Clinic and oncology clinic for Vascular anomaly patients and other rare tumors.
• Interest in and ability to participate in research related to vascular anomalies and rare tumors.

Skills
