Vascular Anomalies Associate Professor or Professor, Clinician Educator, Pediatric Oncology (CHOP)

Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical care and research directly related to patients with complex vascular anomalies. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, graduate students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or related disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows.
• Serving as a mentor to junior faculty in the complex vascular anomalies program.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient care focused on children, adolescents and young adults with complex vascular anomalies at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
• Active involvement in fellowship training.

Research or Scholarship Responsibilities

• Expanding translational and clinical research efforts in our Complex Vascular Anomalies Program.
• Holding an established record of peer reviewed scholarship and extramural funding.
