Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annual salary
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary based on business needs)
About the role
This position reports to the Co-Pack/Retail Fulfillment Manager. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising staff, managing computer entry work, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all paperwork flow.
Responsibilities
- Assign work assignments for all warehouse staff, keeping in mind customer specifications.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of all shipments according to customer specifications.
- Ensure department staff meets customer requirements and train staff on any changes to customer specifications.
- Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries as needed, implementing required actions.
- Ensure the safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors in accordance with OSHA and RJW policies.
- Oversee completion of all computer data entry, checking for accuracy and efficiency.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Maintain and approve all shift employee timesheets for weekly payroll, including temp hours, and make corrections as needed.
- Monitor overtime hours to meet department requirements.
- Complete daily building checks, notify Co-Pack manager of equipment or building issues, and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Ensure warehouse employees adhere to all AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines, including AIB training for food product handling.
- Assure completion of all checklists for building, equipment, and safety as designated by SOP or Policy.
- Issue corrective actions or work orders to address any issues.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed for accident reporting, care of injured employees, and notification of HR and management.
- Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Co-Pack manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training in co-pack.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
- PC literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.
Skills
- Effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, computation of rate, ratio, and percent, and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in limited standardization situations.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to determine the root cause of problems and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Familiarity with labeling software (NiceLabel, Bartender) is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Use phone systems with keyboards and buttons.
- Articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
- Regularly work in an indoor/office environment, including sitting and repetitive hand motion.
- Frequently talk, hear, stand, and walk.
- Work in excess of 8 continuous hours when required.
- Work under stressful situations with good cognitive skills, maintaining work accuracy and multitasking ability.
- Read and discern visual images on various media with 20/20 corrected vision.
- Speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
- Sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician, with no evidence of controlled substance use.

- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
