VAR Operator

Position Summary

Efficiently operate and maintain the VAR Furnace(s) and associated pre-melt and post-melt equipment to meet productivity and quality targets. Interpret and respond to the needs of the equipment. Perform skilled maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting functions as required.

Perform skilled maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting functions as required. Interpret and respond to the needs of the equipment. Candidate must be a US person/permanent resident to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations.

Required Skills

Experience & Education High school diploma/GED or equivalent is required; Trade school or additional training preferred. 3 years working experience in a relevant environment. Vacuum Arc titanium melting experience is a plus.
