Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate complex systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity.
- Carry out new product trails and generate solutions to complex inefficiencies.
- Provide operational support by performing a range of route activities using existing systems and protocols.
- Install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.
- Conduct complex analyses, quality tests, and inspections requiring a high level of independent judgment.
- Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions; identify and mitigate risks, and safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
Requirements
- Secondary / Intermediate + (5 GCSE)
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.
- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions, and formulating plans or policies.
- Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they match organizational strategies and objectives.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid, and effective reports.
- Identifies, assesses, prioritizes, and manages risks in a production process with guidance (but not constant supervision).
