Equipment Operation
Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment used in landscaping projects.
Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as excavators, loaders, skidsteers, and tractors.
Follow manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines when operating equipment.
Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, greasing, and refueling.
Site Preparation and Excavation
Prepare job sites for landscaping projects, including clearing debris, leveling ground and excavating.
Use heavy equipment to dig trenches, grade surfaces, and remove unwanted materials.
Assist in the installation of hardscape features, such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls.
Support the construction of drainage systems and irrigation infrastructure.
Material Handling and Transport
Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies at job sites.
Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as required.
Ensure safe and secure transportation of materials to minimize damage or loss.
Follow proper loading and unloading procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other team members to accomplish project goals.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Absorb tasks as needed and promote a positive work environment.
