Valve and Automation Sales Support Representative
About the role
The Ferguson Valve Automation Inside Sales team is seeking a motivated and talented associate to support our customers, strengthen our Valve Automation capabilities, and drive continued V&A growth across the Southeast region. This role supports the Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Southeast Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers, with timely and professional service
- Deliver exceptional customer support while developing a strong foundation in the V&A business
- Size actuators, control valves, and accessories, and develop complete valve automation solutions daily
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to support sales growth and customer success
- Collaborate with associates across the district to support and promote V&A products and initiatives
- Establish trusted working relationships to ensure seamless communication and teamwork
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through ongoing training and continuous development, particularly in Valve Automation products and applications
Qualifications
- 1-3 years sales experience is required
- Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly
- A high level of integrity when problem solving
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Preference for proficiency in Trilogie prior to applying for this role
