Valve and Automation Sales Support Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and talented associate to join our Valve Automation Inside Sales team. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our customers, strengthening our Valve Automation capabilities, and driving continued V&A growth across the Southeast region. This role supports the Valve Automation Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Southeast Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers, with timely and professional service
• Deliver exceptional customer support while developing a strong foundation in the V&A business
• Size actuators, control valves, and accessories, and develop complete valve automation solutions daily
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to support sales growth and customer success
• Collaborate with associates across the district to support and promote V&A products and initiatives
• Establish trusted working relationships to ensure seamless communication and teamwork
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through ongoing training and continuous development, particularly in Valve Automation products and applications

Qualifications

• 1-3 years sales experience is required
• Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly
• A high level of integrity when problem solving
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Preference for proficiency in Trilogie prior to applying for this role

Pay

The pay range for this role is $17.77 - $40.66 per hour, with estimated ranges displayed as Monthly for Salaried roles or Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
