Value Stream Manager
About the role
Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA. Relocation assistance is available within the US. The Value Stream Manager will manage the high-performance work team and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within the job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities
- Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement.
- Lead and document Eaton Business System practices—including MESH, CIF, EQS, ProLaunch, and Tier/BSC—with emphasis on overall product line performance.
- Maintain customer-centric focus by using leading and lagging measures to meet internal and external customer needs.
- Manage operational process to track and understand key operational metrics and develop action plans to improve operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement programs and process improvements by applying the Eaton Business System and problem-solving tools.
- Partner with supply chain to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution.
- Assist in the selection, training and development of direct reports and participate in their performance evaluation and development of personnel.
- Make recommendations for changes in personnel and salary adjustments.
- Hold dotted line reports accountable through tier 2 meetings and daily accountability tracking.
- Performs other routine or special duties as directed by Operations Manager.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, a minimum of three (3) years in a manufacturing environment, and a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
Skills
To set yourself apart, you should demonstrate some or all of the following: a Master’s degree from an accredited institution, excellent verbal, written, and public speaking/presentation skills, proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), experience with corporate, division and plant policies and procedures, and experience in methods and good industrial engineering practices.
Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Please note that salary information is a general guideline only, and salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
