Valuations Analyst

About the role

House Buyers of America is seeking a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) to value prospective deals and determine a scope of work for properties acquired. The VA must provide reliable estimates of market value for potential acquisitions and develop pricing strategies for properties sold.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategies to maximize ROI for acquired properties
• Collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budgets, and construction strategies
• Value properties across the United States and ensure valuation accuracy
• Achieve turnaround objectives for valuations and prevent properties from lingering on the market too long
• Tackle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Perform other tasks necessary to support the company's goals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
• An appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies
