About the role
The Valuations Analyst (VA) will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties acquired by House Buyers of America. This includes providing reliable estimates of market value for potential acquisitions and developing pricing strategies for properties sold.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for determining the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all properties acquired and managing the turnaround times for dispositions.
- You will collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments to make pricing decisions, set budgets, and develop the overall construction strategy.
- You will be responsible for valuing properties across the entire United States and ensuring the accuracy of all valuations.
- You will manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and assist in meeting the company's goals.
Requirements
- You have at least 3 years of minimum experience in residential property valuations/underwriting.
- You have an appraisal license or have completed all appraisal coursework (preferred).
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- You have excellent computer skills and can quickly learn new technologies.

- You have a strong understanding of real estate markets and trends.
- You have experience working with data and analyzing market conditions.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.
