About the role

House Buyers of America is seeking a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) to value prospective deals and determine a scope of work for properties acquired. The VA must provide reliable estimates of market value for potential acquisitions and develop pricing strategies for properties sold.

Responsibilities

Develop pricing strategies to maximize ROI for acquired properties
Collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budgets, and construction strategies
Value properties across the United States and ensure valuation accuracy
Achieve turnaround objectives for valuations and prevent properties from lingering on the market too long
Tackle multiple priorities and deadlines
Perform other tasks necessary to support the company’s goals

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
An appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework (preferred)
A Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

Proficiency in real estate valuation software
Knowledge of local and national real estate markets
Experience with property management systems
