Valuations Analyst
About the role
House Buyers of America is seeking a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) to value prospective deals and determine a scope of work for properties acquired. The VA must provide reliable estimates of market value for potential acquisitions and develop pricing strategies for properties already owned.
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize ROI for acquired properties
- Collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budgets, and overall construction strategies
- Value properties across the United States and ensure valuation accuracy
- Achieve turnaround objectives for valuations and prevent properties from lingering on the market too long
- Tackle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Perform other tasks necessary to support the company's goals
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
- An appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework (preferred)
- A Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Exceptional computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies
