About the role
The Valuations Analyst (VA) will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties acquired by House Buyers of America. This position requires a reliable estimate of market value for potential acquisitions and a pricing strategy for properties sold.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for determining the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all acquired properties and setting the turnaround times for dispositions.
- You will collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budgets, and the overall construction strategy.
- You will be responsible for valuing properties across the entire United States and ensuring the accuracy of all valuations.
- You will manage multiple priorities and deadlines while ensuring properties do not remain on the market for extended periods.
- You will assist with other tasks as needed to support the company's goals.
Requirements
- You must have at least 3 years of minimum experience in residential property valuations/underwriting.
- An appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- You should have exceptional computer skills and be able to adapt quickly to new technologies.

- You must have a strong understanding of market trends and be able to make informed valuations.
- You should be detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work remotely.
