Valuations Analyst

About the role

The Valuations Analyst (VA) will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties acquired by House Buyers of America. This includes providing a reliable estimate of market value for deals and developing a pricing strategy for properties sold.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize ROI for acquired properties
• Collaborate with the Sales and Construction Departments on pricing decisions, budgets, and overall construction strategies
• Value properties across the United States and ensure valuation accuracy
• Meet and exceed turnaround objectives for valuations and prevent properties from sitting on the market too long
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Perform other tasks as necessary to support the company's goals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential property valuations/underwriting
• An appraisal license or completion of all appraisal coursework (preferred)
• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Proficiency in real estate valuation software
• Knowledge of market trends and economic indicators
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
