Valuation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed functions and technical measurements regarding collateral for lending.
• Analyze and evaluate appraisals and supportive reporting.
• Conduct research and analysis on property data (Market/Sales/Rent/Regional, etc.).
• Communicate concerns and resolve issues with multiple departments.
• Make value recommendations.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of real estate valuation methodology and concepts.
• Familiarity with researching property and zoning details via online websites (County, City, State, GIS Maps, private data sources, etc.).
• Experience with Plat Map, Survey, Legal Description, and Title Review.
• Flexibility in work schedule to meet client needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing real estate valuation reviews and/or a previous audit support role.
• Experience in the Mortgage or Banking industry.
