About the role

Valora Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, seeks an Assistant Director of Health Services, RN, to join their growing team. The community is located in the picturesque Orono area, close to downtown Wayzata, Lake Minnetonka, and Long Lake. They offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with overseeing the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
  • Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
  • Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
  • Absorb oversight of the provision of orientation and training and retain qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
  • Absorb development and implementation of the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
  • Evaluate current and potential residents to determine and maintain facility's ability to provide the appropriate level of care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills.

Qualifications

Pay

$33.65 - $48.07 per hour, **$2500 Sign on Bonus**

Schedule

Full Time with Manager on Duty Weekend Rotation
