About the role

Valora St. Anthony, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Director of Health Services, RN to join their growing team. Located in a peaceful neighborhood near Minneapolis and St. Paul, the community is easily accessible via major roads, including Highway 38 (St. Anthony Blvd) and Highway 65.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
• Aid in hiring nursing staff, overseeing the provision of orientation and training, and retaining qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
• Develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
• Evaluate current and potential residents to determine and maintain facility’s ability to provide the appropriate level of care.
• Manage clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
• Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.

Pay

$85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience, and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
