About the role
Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Director of Health Services, Registered Nurse to join their growing team. The community is located at 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street in Minneapolis, MN, offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
- Aid in hiring nursing staff, overseeing the provision of orientation and training, and retaining qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
- Develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
- Evaluate current and potential residents to determine and maintain the facility's ability to provide the appropriate level of care.
- Manage clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.

Pay
$85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience. ***$5,000.00 Sign On Bonus***
Schedule
Monday- Friday, Weekend Manager on Duty Rotation Required.
