Validation Coordinator

What We Are Looking For

This position is part of the structure to support the validation of parts. The purpose of the position is to link the schedule, the sequencing on the lines and escalate material issues within the plant/function.

What You Will Be Responsible For In This Role

• Confirm the sequencing on the final assembly with production lead and material handling lead.
• Escalates shortages (make and buy parts) internally through resolution.
• Counts and confirms componentry quantities supplied by the stock room prior to use on the lines and confirms quantities returned from the line at the end of the order.
• Validates material on the floor.
• Aids in maintaining a neat and clean working environment on the final assembly lines in accordance with PPGs and 5S principles.
• Removes all componentry from the previously packaged order from packaging line unless the componentry is to be used in the next product order to be packaged.
• Validates correct packaging componentry and lot numbers and moves componentry out the packaging line.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of BOM and routing
• Understanding of MRP and demand
• Understanding of material flow and control
