Valet Attendant

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest requests for luggage assistance, organizes luggage, and ensures timely delivery to rooms.
• Delivers excellent service by addressing and resolving guest concerns with immediate and exemplary solutions.
• Greet all guests passing through the hotel lobby and seek opportunities to assist as well as create memorable experiences.
• Maintain expertise of and enforce Forbes Travel Guide standards for team.
• Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups times.
• Oversees the Bell team members to ensure that excellent service is provided during all guest interactions.
• Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups times.
• Ensures team members follow all internal health and safety policies and procedures, and work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and managers.
• Communicates with other departments to ensure efficient operations and high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Protects and maintains Hotel equipment.
• Reports all maintenance issues pertaining to the facilities via internal systems and follow up to ensure these are been completed in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
• Assumes other responsibilities, duties, tasks and assignments that contribute to the mitigation or response to any public health emergency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• Casino/Hotel experience preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ customer service experience is required.
• Experience within an upscale hotel preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Bell Attendant, Bell Captain or related position is preferred.
• Schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts and overtime, as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify and prioritize issues, as they arise.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• 5 years of safe driving experience in vehicle.
• Able to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
